That’s a darned classy photo up top – but that’s no surprise, because you’re a classy lady! It’s amazing to think how long we’ve been reading each other’s stuff – all the way back to the red umbrella. I still remember the photo you took one evening when you were up at your dad’s, and a storm had come and gone. It was a sort of orange-sherbet sunset. Beautiful.
Well, here we go. I’m heading up to Houston to take my friend with the broken leg and broken arm a new walker and a bath bench – she’s going home on Thursday! If a seventy-something woman who’s had a stroke can break multiple bones and be ready to get home and start living on her own again after seven weeks – well, we ought to be able to creep along for another year!
